THE PROCESS

The lightweight Mezzo crew knit is densely woven for superior drape without compromising breathability and comfort against the skin. Ultra soft Baby Alpaca is dyed with Peruvian Purple Corn a.k.a. Maiz Morado then machine knit into our modern crewneck.

Used for medicinal and culinary purposes since pre-Incan times, purple corn grown in the Peruvian Andes contain the highest amounts of anthocyanins due to their growing conditions, giving us it's deep violet hue that would not be achievable if grown anywhere else.
