Myrobalan (Terminalia chebula) is a common natural dye that grows in southern tropical regions. It grows primarily in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is an upright tree with small oval leaves and lovely bright yellow flowers. It's extract has been used for centuries to cure leather, dye fabric and can even be consumed as a medicine.
