The MITCH JACKET is fully reversible with large roomy pockets on both sides. It’s left open with a button-free collar stand, for maximum versatility. The garment also features a mandarin collar, and cotton bias finishing on one side to highlight the shape and graphic lines of the seams.

THE DYE PROCESS

Hand dyed in-studio with Safflower and Aronia, the Mitch Jacket is submerged in two different vats to create a bi-color garment. The jacket is 4 designs in 1, a different style from different angles and reversible in addition.

Made from repurposed Vintage Kantha quilts, the original patina includes areas of fraying, patches and an age-softened feel. Kantha quilting is the traditional Bengali craft of patching together and embroidering cloth and saris that are passed through the hands of generations of women.
